Philosophy

Our philosophy is that young children grow and flourish in a positive, stimulating environment. Our teachers facilitate play activities throughout the day which support children's natural desire for learning.

The UW-Platteville Children's Center on campus holds a five-star rating and meets the highest levels of quality standards through YoungStar, a program of the Department of Children and Families created to improve the quality of child care for Wisconsin children.

Additionally, the center is nationally accredited through National Early Childhood Program Accreditation (NECPA) which was created to encourage the availability of high-quality early education programs.
