Cosmopolitan Kids provides a warm, engaging environment that incorporates a challenging child-centered curriculum while placing high priority on building relationships between caregivers, children, and families. Our classrooms are designed to promote hands-on learning and independent exploration, including opportunities for physical, social, and cognitive development. Teachers have the ability to meet children's needs on an individual basis, and encourage families to become partners in their child’s care. We provide everything that your child will need throughout the day including diapers, all meals, baby foods and formula. Cosmopolitan Kids Academies are located in downtown Seattle and lower Queen Anne.

Cosmopolitan Kids Children's Academy is an owner-operated, female (and mother) founded, play-based organization that started twenty years ago. Shawna Smits and Stephanie Roberts saw the need for quality childcare in Seattle after Stephanie searched for care for her one year old daughter. They have been committed to providing caring and nurturing childcare ever since, opening their first daycare in 1999 and understand the importance of building relationships with your child's caregivers and they strive to provide opportunities for your child and theirs to learn and grow with the Cosmopolitan Kids families and teachers.
