Clover Preschool blends Montessori with play and plenty of outside time for your child to grow and thrive at preschool. I am AMS certified to teach Montessori. I believe play is the one of the most important things a child can do to grow, learn and develop, which is why we do fun, engaging activities and sensory play every day to nurture your child's development. I believe in being messy, asking questions and fostering a child’s exploration and imagination. I also believe in nurturing a child, giving them support and understanding, as they learn to understand themselves and how they feel. Social and Emotional education is so important for them to learn how to regulate big feelings and behaviors. I’m excited to teach them breathing and mindfulness activities in order to self-regulate.

Outdoor activities are as essential to the health, education, and development of children. In addition to its physical benefits, outdoor playtime provides children with a change of scenery in which they can expend energy and express themselves freely with fewer disturbances to others. We have scheduled outdoor play for about an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon.

I take hygiene very seriously and make sure the children learn good habits like handwashing to prevent the spread of germs and infection. Children will wash hands when arriving at school, before eating, after using the bathroom, after messy play and outside time.
