BELLEVUE CAMPUS Located on the border of Kirkland and Bellevue, below the South Kirkland Transit Center, our campus is a former orchard where historic Chestnut, Apple, and Pear trees, and a natural play yard provide students with many unique opportunities for indoor and outdoor learning. The School is open year-round, with occasional closures according to the School schedule each year.

Chestnut Montessori School is a small classical Montessori school where children love to learn. The Montessori curriculum is enriched with Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) activities for children of all ages.

We provide a rich, natural learning environment surrounded by chestnut, apple and maple trees crafting a beautiful background to our 3 classrooms, 3 outdoor play areas, a soccer field and gardens. Classrooms can accommodate children ages two through six. Each classroom provides a rich environment, specially prepared according to the Montessori philosophy.
Our students learn about their world through real-life activities and a science-based curriculum that has been prepared to support independence and creativity. Children can transition among the various curriculum areas including, Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Math, Geography, Science, Botany and Zoology.
