I take the health and well-being of all the children in my care very seriously. To ensure the safety of all children, my policy prohibits parents from bringing their child to daycare if they are severely ill. Symptoms such as diarrhea, vomiting, fever, head lice, or any other contagious illness are not considered mild and children with such symptoms should not be brought to daycare. This is because I believe that sick children require more attention and care, which can be difficult to provide in a daycare setting where there are other children to care for.

However, I understand that some children have special health care needs, and I am committed to working with parents to ensure that their child receives the appropriate care while attending my daycare. In such cases, I will discuss the child's individual needs on a case-by-case basis and work with the parents to determine the best course of action.

I strongly encourage parents to have backup care in place in case their child becomes ill and cannot attend daycare. If your child is sick, please keep them at home to prevent the spread of illness to other children. I understand that this can be challenging for working parents, but it is essential to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all the children in my care.
