Our first year preschool program is for three and four year olds (Chipmunks) and runs two days each week. Children must be three by Sept 30 and be toilet trained. There are three Chipmunk classes: AM Chipmunks – Tues & Thurs – 8:30-11:30 16 children/3 teachers 10 children/2 teachers PM Chipmunks – Tues & Thurs – 12:00-3:00 10-16 children/2-3 teachers

Camp runs for six weeks, and is generally staffed by current Acorn teachers, and typically each child can attend for at least two of those weeks. Camp runs Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of each week, from 9am-1pm with a different theme each week. Registration for Camp Acorn begins in February of each school year. Each week has a special theme, with art projects and stories to go with that theme. To keep cool on hot days, we have two pools, one for splashing and the other for quieter play. The “Acorn Waterslide” and sprinkler provide a fun variety for water play, and are great favorites. Children should dress in comfortable clothes as there will be lots of outdoor play, paint and other fun goopy stuff. Snacks are provided, but each child should also bring his/her own nut-free lunch, along with bathing suit, and towel. Bug spray and sunscreen should be applied prior to attendance.

Our kindergarten program is for five and six year olds (Mighty Oaks) and runs five days each week. Children must be five by Sept 30. There is one class: Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri – 8:30-1:30; Thurs 8:30-11:30 10-18 children/2-3 teachers
