Our Montessori toddler “Seedlings” program provides a sensitive transition from home to school. Through hands-on activities, this program focuses on emerging language skills, separation and trust, self-help, and motor skills. Children begin their social and educational growth here in a homey, safe, child-centered space.

This program for 3 and 4 year olds includes core Montessori presentations, peace curriculum, music units, cultural themes, Spanish and Sign Language lessons. Although designed as an introduction to socialization and to the Montessori curriculum for part-timers, a full range of academic materials are available for full-timers and for those children who are developmentally ready.

The classic 5-day programming for 3 and 4 year old children supports the full Montessori curriculum and includes a strong literacy program, extensive cultural themes, science and seasonal explorations.

Public school Kindergarten – 2nd grade children can join us for an after-school program until 5:30. Children will enjoy lots of good old fashioned outdoor play and discovery on our playground, nature courtyard and the wooded park preserve surrounding our school. When we have to be inside, the children bring the outdoors inside through nature based activities or play classic children’s games.
