Our Infant Program provides warmth, love, and nurturing to very young children AND to their parents! For children ages eight weeks to fifteen months, our infant “class” is located in the quiet end of our Schoolhouse. We provide careful, thoughtful, continuation of decisions made at home which extended to each individual baby in our care. Skilled teachers enhance infant development with intentional planning for each individual baby’s growth. Especially in our infant program, adults immediately respond to the individual needs of each child. Completely individualized and flexible scheduling is provided according to each baby’s needs and parent’s desires.

Our Toddler Program, designed for children ages fifteen to thirty-six month old, is unique. Bright and busy children are taught in two suites on the first floor of the Schoolhouse. Group size is small so that these young children may play successfully together, learn easily with one another. Our emotionally content and physically safe Toddlers grow in so many ways. For example, their verbal language increases exponentially and they practice sign language – because we know that the tongue is one of the last muscles in the body to become trained! Toddlers have so much to say and we help ours express their feelings in highly effective ways. Our young children learn self-help skills and play together while literally satisfying their curiosity in leaps and bounds.

We offer two Pre-School classrooms of varying sizes for children ages three to five years. Depending on your child’s learning style, one large group (average 18) and one smaller group (average 10) offer a diversified learning experience in which to pursue curiosity and growth. Located on the ground level of the Schoolhouse building, our Pre-School daily schedule revolves around time offered for imaginative play as well as skill building in academic, social, emotional, and physical areas. Master level Pre-School teachers design learning opportunities which include multiple languages, science study, music, movement, mathematics and so much more! Specialized programs are offered seasonally and include: swim lessons, ice skating, guest teachers in music, art and science. Field trips to libraries, nursing homes, fire stations, and museums round out learning in our outstanding Pre-School Program.
